All about this product
Description
Made from flat-woven kilims, sewn together into a larger, unique rug. Bohemian, carved, tribal-style rug with black, green, light blue, light brown, and red accent colors. Imported from Turkey and crafted using the finest weaving techniques. Handmade and made from 100% wool with a base of 100% cotton. 5 feet 0 inches by 6 feet 7 inches (152.4 cm x 200.7 cm)
- Vacuuming once a week with a smooth nozzle and no rotating brush.
- Blot stains immediately using a clean, slightly damp cloth, and never rub.
- A few times a year to ensure even wear.
- Avoid: harsh cleaning products and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight.
Material recommendations
- Wool: naturally stain-resistant and hard-wearing; regular vacuuming is usually sufficient, and stains can be easily dabbed away.
Zo houd je de kleuren en vezels van je Saar patchwork vloerkleed beige jarenlang optimaal in conditie.

Good to know
This is often the case: the colour is the natural colour of the wool. In some rugs, the wool is lightly dyed using plant-based or synthetic dyes. The material composition is listed for each product.
Beige shows stains more easily than a dark rug, but it hides light dust and sand well. Blot stains immediately with a damp cloth and hoover regularly.
Beige has a warmer, sandy undertone; cream is lighter and more neutral. In undyed wool, the two shades are very similar and vary from sheep to sheep and from one wash to the next.
White, terracotta, olive green, navy, black and natural wood. Beige is a neutral base that allows other colours to come into their own.
Undyed wool may take on a slightly warmer tone over the years when exposed to direct sunlight. Rotate the rug half a turn regularly to ensure the colour remains even.
Yes. Beige warms up a cool grey floor. Choose a beige rug with grey or black accents, so that the colours of the floor and the rug complement each other.
Vacuum regularly, do not use bleach and do not leave the rug to dry in the sun whilst wet. Leave any major cleaning to a professional rug cleaner.
Beige shows stains more easily than a patterned rug, but a beige rug with a pattern or texture hides light stains better than a plain, solid-coloured one.
Wool is a natural insulator, which means it retains some of the heat. The rug can be placed on underfloor heating, but please bear in mind that the heat output may be reduced.
Vacuum the rug regularly, following the direction of the pile, on a low setting. Blot stains immediately with a damp cloth and a drop of pH-neutral wool detergent, as a neutral pH leaves the wool fibres intact.
Many vintage rugs have turned beige through wear and tear, washing and sunlight, whilst they once had a lighter or different shade. Signs of wear or repairs are part of their character.
Use a light-coloured non-slip mat made of felt or rubber that is slightly smaller than the rug, so that the edges do not curl up and a dark mat does not show through.
