Babak Perzisch vloerkleed rood
All about this product
Description
Pure new wool is naturally dirt-repellent and resilient, and is washed and carded rather than chemically softened, which keeps the fibre elastic and ensures the rug will last for years.

I found a beautiful and unique rug. Friendly customer service. It took a while to arrive, as it had to be shipped from its country of origin. It was well worth the wait. Highly recommended!!
Good, prompt communication and they really think things through with you. Brilliant🤍 and a little gift in the post for writing a review. Which shop still does that these days?!
They’re very helpful when you ask questions by email and really think things through with you!
Delivered quickly, good fabric.
Fast delivery and the quality you’d expect!
I bought a beautiful Berber rug from Houseify. The delivery took a bit of doing, but everything worked out in the end and I was compensated with a small gift. I dealt with the logistics planner, who was very customer-friendly. I’d definitely recommend them 👍. I’m very satisfied, anyway.
I ordered the rug on the website; it’s made of good-quality material.
A lovely rug and delivered quickly👌👍
I don’t usually write reviews, but my bronze puma is simply fantastic. When I got in touch with Houseify via the chatbot, they explained everything to me about the material and quality of the product. For an online shop that’s only been around for a year, you’re doing a fantastic job.
Maintenance
Met de juiste verzorging gaat je Babak Perzisch vloerkleed rood jarenlang mee. Houd het simpel:
- Vacuuming once a week with a smooth nozzle and no rotating brush.
- Blot stains immediately using a clean, slightly damp cloth, and never rub.
- A few times a year to ensure even wear.
- Avoid: harsh cleaning products and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight.
Material recommendations
- Wool: naturally stain-resistant and hard-wearing; regular vacuuming is usually sufficient, and stains can be easily dabbed away.
Zo houd je de kleuren en vezels van je Babak Perzisch vloerkleed rood jarenlang optimaal in conditie.

Good to know
Persian is a specific tradition within the classical style, characterised by a fixed knotting technique and motifs such as the medallion and the boteh. The classical style is broader and also encompasses Ottoman-Turkish and other traditional designs.
The terms are often used interchangeably. A rug is a loose rug that you place anywhere in the room; the term ‘rug’ also refers to fitted rug or floor covering. Our collection consists of loose, handmade rugs.
The classic rugs in the Houseify collection are hand-knotted or woven on a vertical loom. As they are made by hand, they feature small, natural variations in the pattern that machine-made rugs lack.
Classic rugs often combine a muted main colour, such as burgundy, navy blue or ivory, with accents in gold, rust or dark green. A more neutral colour scheme in beige or grey is better suited to a modern, understated interior.
Vacuum the rug regularly, following the direction of the pile, on a low setting. Blot stains immediately with a damp cloth and a drop of pH-neutral wool detergent. Leave thorough cleaning to a professional rug cleaner.
Yes, to create a contrast. A classic rug with muted colours and a subtle pattern adds depth to a minimalist, modern interior without overwhelming the rest of the room.
Over the years, the colour of dyed wool will fade when exposed to direct sunlight for long periods. Turn the rug half a turn regularly to ensure the colour remains even.
Yes, with a standard pile height. Wool is a natural insulator, which means that heat output may be slightly lower than on an uncovered floor. Check whether the underfloor heating manufacturer permits the use of rugs.
‘Classic’ refers to the design: symmetrical, with traditional motifs. ‘Vintage’ refers to the age of the rug. A classic rug can be either new or vintage; a vintage rug, on the other hand, has a worn look due to its age.
Keep the rest of the room simple: a plain sofa and few other patterns will ensure that the rug remains the focal point. Repeat one colour from the pattern in a cushion or curtain to tie the whole look together.
Use a non-slip mat made of felt or rubber that is slightly smaller than the rug, so that the edges do not curl up. A non-slip mat prevents the rug from sliding on smooth floors and protects the floor from wear and tear.
