Description
Roya Perzisch vloerkleed beige is een handgeknoopte loper uit Ardabil in Iran, een plaats die bekendstaat als centrum van het Perzische Kazak-tapijt. De loper meet 288 × 115 cm en is gemaakt van 100% wol op een basis van katoen. Het kleed heeft franjes en is laagpolig, dus het past goed in een lange gang.
Het ontwerp is geometrisch, in een Perzische stijl met tribale invloeden. De basiskleur is beige, met accenten in blauw, koper, ivoor, navy blauw en rood. Omdat dit een semi-antiek kleed is, zie je kleine onregelmatigheden die horen bij het handwerk.
Zuivere scheerwol is van nature vuilafstotend en veerkrachtig, en wordt gewassen en gekaard in plaats van chemisch verzacht, wat de vezel elastisch houdt en het tapijt jarenlang laat meegaan.
