Description
Aria oosters vloerkleed bruin is een loper van 362 × 105 cm, met de hand geknoopt in Afghanistan in Perzische stijl. De pool is van 100% wol en zit op katoen, en aan de uiteinden hangen franjes.
Het geometrische ontwerp is tribal van karakter, met bruin als basiskleur en accenten in zwart, koper, crème en navy blauw. Kleden in deze stijl worden geweven door de Baluch-stammen in het westen van Afghanistan. Door de lengte past hij in een gang of hal, en met ca. 6,35 mm is hij dun genoeg om vlak te liggen. Als semi-antiek exemplaar heeft hij een verweerde, doorleefde uitstraling.
Zuivere scheerwol is van nature vuilafstotend en veerkrachtig, en wordt gewassen en gekaard in plaats van chemisch verzacht, wat de vezel elastisch houdt en het tapijt jarenlang laat meegaan.
