The fabric is commonly known as \u201ecactus silk\u201d or \u201esabra silk\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prickly leaves from sustainable agave cacti grown in the Sahara are harvested, pounded and then soaked to release the fibres. The fibres are then spun by hand using traditional methods to produce cactus silk. The silk is then combined with camel\u2019s wool and hand-woven on a loom to create cactus silk rugs, which are in turn made into these <a href=\"https:\/\/houseify.com\/product\/reda-kelim-kussen-oranje\/\">vintage cushion covers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cushion features vintage <a href=\"https:\/\/houseify.com\/product\/mourad-berber-vloerkleed-beige\/\">symbolic Berber motifs<\/a> from the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco and features a hand-woven, interlaced fringe with a tassel at each corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each piece features a unique, intricately embroidered design, and no two will be exactly the same!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Omschrijving Marokkaanse zijden sabra-kussens met cactussen Dit unieke Marokkaanse kussen is met de hand geweven en met de hand geverfd.
